On the morning of Friday February 11th around 7:30 to 8PM, Sara was
driving on Airport Road near San Jose International Airport. She was on her way to pick up her
husband at the airport. Her little dog Leo, a Bichon Frise was sitting in the seat next to her.
A black SUV or pickup with a camper shell with Virginia license plates cut her off. (It could have
been a Dodge Dakota or a Durango) When it swerved in front of her coming to a stop for the left
turn signal her car bumped into the back of it. The other driver jumped from the vehicle and
approached her car in a rage. He rapped on her window and when she rolled it down to apologize he
reached in and grabbed her small dog Leo, who had jumped into her lap to greet the stranger, by the
neck and hurled him into the oncoming traffic.
Leo was hit by an oncoming car and died on the way to the Vets.
This is an example of the worst type of Road Rage that is possible.
For a person to take out their frustration on a defenseless little Dog is beyond the grasp of this
writer. On the bulletin boards where I post some are suggesting that Sara should bear a portion of the
responsibility for this incident. This is an assumption that defies reason. For someone to maliciously
kill a defenseless Dog for the act of another regardless of the seriousness of that act is unacceptable.
This lower than pond scum individual needs to be brought to justice.
He is in his 20's, slight in build, about 5'10", white, with a goatee and wore a baseball
cap backwards. If you have any information that could help lead to the apprehension of this scum bag
please call the San Jose Police at 408 277-8900 referencing case number 00048-9735.
Anyone wishing to send their condolences to Sara should e-mail them to

They have set up a site to monitor the progress of this case. The link to this site is
